A receptionist who mirrors the caller's language

A menu with 'press 2 for English' feels dated and drives callers away. Voxori does it differently: she listens, recognises that someone speaks English and switches along immediately. For the Dutch caller nothing changes — they're simply helped in Dutch.

Handy for restaurants in tourist cities, clinics with international patients, estate agents with expat clients and any business that also serves customers beyond the Dutch market.

What bilingual mode does

Dutch and English, no hassle.

Switches to English automatically

If the caller starts in English, Voxori switches along effortlessly — no menu, no 'press 2 for English'. By default she stays in Dutch.

Books just as well in English

An English-speaking customer makes an appointment or reservation the exact same way, with the same direct booking into your calendar.

SMS confirmation in the right language

The confirmation and reminder come in the language of the call, so the English-speaking caller understands exactly what's there.

One number for all your customers

No second line or separate number. Dutch and English callers come in on the same number and are both helped properly.

The same honesty in both languages

In English too, Voxori states she's a digital assistant and only says 'booked' when the appointment is genuinely confirmed.

Transfers when needed

A question beyond her knowledge or an emergency? Voxori transfers an English call just as neatly to you or your team.

What does it cost?

Bilingual mode is the module Bilingual — English (+€19/month) on top of Voxori Base (€79/month), and is included in Voxori Complete (€319/month) by default. We set it up together with you and make a few test calls in both languages before you go live. €0 setup, cancel monthly.

Frequently asked

Questions about bilingual mode.

How does Voxori know whether to speak Dutch or English?

Voxori starts in Dutch by default. If the caller speaks English, she recognises it and switches to English for the rest of the call automatically. The caller doesn't choose anything or press a key.

Does this work on the same phone number?

Yes. You don't need a second number or a separate English line. All callers come in on your existing number; Voxori adapts to the caller's language per call.

Can Voxori also schedule and confirm appointments in English?

Yes. The whole conversation — answering questions, scheduling an appointment or reservation, the SMS confirmation — runs in the same language the caller uses.

Which plan includes the bilingual option?

Bilingual mode is the module 'Bilingual — English' (+€19/month on top of Voxori Base) and is included in Voxori Complete by default. We set it up together with you and make a few test calls before you go live, so you know it works in both languages.

Besides Dutch and English, does Voxori speak other languages?

By default Voxori works in Dutch and switches to English. Another language we set up on request as bespoke work: we check together whether it works reliably for your callers and run a few test calls before it goes live. So we only turn a language on once it's actually there — we never promise a language that isn't.

Also useful: an online booking widget and preventing no-shows with a deposit.
